Desi's Book Pick of the Week

Cars & Trucks and Things that Go by Richard Scarry was published in 1974 and still remains a classic for any toddler's library. The boys especially love this book that illustrates everything from fire engines to silly pickle cars. The best part about this book is that you can read through the entire thing for a long evening of reading before bed or pick and choose the pages for a shorter story. We were recently at a county fair and my toddler's eyes lit up when he saw the Oscar Meyer hot dog car because we had just seen it in the Richard Scarry book and he couldn't believe a thing like that actually existed!
