Sex Offenders Don't Make Good Neighbors

I used to love Mr. Rogers who sings the nice, happy tune called "Who are the people in your neighborhood?"
But make no mistake, with the arrival of the internet and the office of public information, we neighbors can arm ourself with the right knowledge to protect our kids.

Go to this link and near the bottom left, it has a "Click Here" button. Click on it and enter your address.
It will show a "house" that's yours.
All the little colored boxes are Sex Offenders.
Click on them and you get a name and mug shot of the person along with his crime.
To my surprise there are 267 sex offenders in my 'safe' neighborhood!! (that's what the real estate lady said...)
Pretty amazing and scary.

After you've seen this for yourself, consider forwarding our blog to people you care about with kids - and come to think of it everyone you know w/o kids too.
I sure want to know who's in my neighborhood...
